Teyana Taylor’s ex Iman Shumpert  claims she makes DOUBLE what he does – as former NBA player wants change in child support payments amid bitter divorce

Teyana Taylor’s ex Iman Shumpert has claimed that she makes double what he does as he is asking for a change in child support payments amid their bitter divorce.

The 33-year-old former NBA star has filed new court documents asking for an adjustment due to a pay gap with the 33-year-old singer and actress according to TMZ on Thursday.

Shumpert alleges in the court documents that Taylor’s gross monthly income before taxes is $93,885 which is nearly double what his is at $47,981.

Shumpert has earned $48million over his NBA career but has not played in the league since 2021.

It is an interesting claim as when Teyana filed for divorce in November, she claimed that her estranged husband was insecure and jealous of her fame.

The two are currently in the midst of figuring out child support over their two kids as Shumpert says he is comfortable with paying $8,000 a month.

He also claims that he will pay health insurance for ‘major’ medical expenses but would like to split the children’s’ other health services.

The drama has gone on for months as Back in March Taylor accused Shumpert of ‘confusing’ their kids.

At the time, Taylor filed documents obtained by TMZ to have a child psychologist testify.

The actress wants a child psychologist to testify about something that happened a few weeks ago when their kids – 8-year-old Junie and 3-year-old Rue – were at Shumpert’s home.

The former NBA star had an unidentified female friend and her daughter staying at his home during his parental weekend with Junie and Rue.

Taylor clarified she knew they were there because she saw the female friend’s daughter and heard the friend during a FaceTime check-in.

She also added that the female friend and her daughter were later seen at SkyZone with Taylor and Shumpert’s kids.

The White Man Can’t Jump actress claimed in the documents that her oldest Junie was ‘confused’ by seeing Shumpert sharing a bed with the friend.

She alleges in the documents that Shumpert told Junie that the friend was staying with him because her home was ‘broken.’

Taylor claims that Shumpert doesn’t need to have the woman and her daughter around on his weekends with the kids.

The docs point out that Shumpert has the kids on the first and third weekend of each month, plus select Friday’s as well.

The actress claims that Shumpert doesn’t actually realize the impact him being seen with another woman is having on their kids, which is why she wants a child psychologist to testify.

She is also asking for a financial expert to testify, since she’s claimed that Shumpert has withdrawn nearly $4 million from multiple shared accounts.

The new legal wrinkle comes just months after Taylor accused Shumpert of turning off the utilities at the Atlanta home she shares with their kids.

She also added that the female friend and her daughter were later seen at SkyZone with Taylor and Shumpert's kids.

Teyana was trying to hold her soon-to-be ex accountable for allegedly turning off the cable and internet on January 23 and the water on January 24 at the Atlanta-area house the couple used to share.

The Book of Clarence star also alleged Iman had not paid any child support for their two daughters, Iman — nicknamed Junie — eight and Rue, three, with the exception of covering Junie’s school tuition.

The filing also indicated that the former Cleveland Cavalier moved out of the house in October after news of the divorce was made public and returned to his hometown of Chicago.

She contends he has not followed through on promises to pay for some $200,000 worth of home renovations that began prior to the separation, including repairing the security gate on the property.
